The Meteorological Department issued a red alert of heat for the next four days in Uttarakhand. Due to the high temperatures, there is a possibility of forest fire in the state. According to Meteorological Center Director Bikram Singh, the weather will remain dry in the state from April 26 to 29. The maximum temperature may rise by two to three degrees Celsius.

Almora, Dehradun, Rudraprayag, and US Nagar are among those receiving less rainfall. In Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, and Uttarkashi the situation is better than in the rest. On the other hand, the maximum temperature in Doon on Monday was 37.4 degrees, which is four degrees above normal.
